Beijo Madeiran table wine
An award winning red Madeiran DOP table wine that can be found in many retailers and at the Madeira wine festival.
Beijo means Kiss in Portuguese, hence the lips on the very stylish label.
Beijo is produced at the San Vicente winery and is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Touriga Franca and Tinta Barroca grapes.
The wine is fresh and peppery with fruit notes, particularly blackberries. This is certainly one of most evolved of Madeira’s red wines as it has depth of flavour and some real body to it.
The vineyard is in Canical and planted in 2005 with the first bottling made in 2009.
