Registration open for the 2022 F.I.C.B. Wine tasting Challenge in Hungary

17:07

The next F.I.C.B. International Wine Tasting Challenge will take place in Hungary in 2022,  from 2 to 5 June in Budapest and its vineyards, followed by an extension from 5 to 7 June in the Eger and Tokai wine regions. It is organised by the Wine Sisterhood of the Ladies of Pannonia.

After the success of the first edition, which took place in Finland in 2019, this Challenge continues with the same formula, combining a collective evaluation of the wines served, an individual  blind tasting competition and an exceptional programme of visits and food and wine experiences.

F.I.C.B. members based in wine-producing regions are encouraged to seek out the supply of wines from their region to participate in the collective evaluation, which is rewarded with trophies to promote them.

After the pandemic period we have just gone through, this event is scheduled at a time when it is reasonable to think that with the generalisation of vaccinations and health passes, travel will be back on the agenda.
